Great to be with you today. I wanted to talk a little bit more about multilingual marketing.
More specifically with multilingual marketing is the great opportunity that all of you have right now, to do Spanish translation. Where you have the opportunity for Spanish translation, you should definitely take advantage of it if it's if it's a part of segment, that taps into your customer base or a way to expand your customer base. Let me talk a little bit more about the opportunity.
As many of you know, if you’ve been reading all the news, you know, the Hispanic population is exploding.
Should be close to twenty percent of the overall population within a few years. And in addition, in terms of just search, when you talk about digital and demand, about thirty percent of all browsers are searched from a household that has both, Spanish and English, spoken in the household. So the opportunity is is big. And the websites within the United States, only about two percent of websites support Spanish right now. So here you are with this greenfield opportunity to go after this growing segment. And when you think about it, what's a way that you can really take advantage of it? Well, in Google search, one great statistic to think about is how much does it cost to buy a click.
And typically, clicks are getting more and more expensive. But in terms of buying a click that is Spanish translated or in Spanish as a language, for a specific keyword versus an English keyword and an English campaign, it's about three times more expensive, to buy the English campaign. And in addition, when that, paid search is executed in a Spanish language versus English language, there's about a three and a half times better click through rate. So if you combine the cost efficiency and the click efficiency, you're at about a ten and a half times, cost effectiveness, for your return on investment going after, Spanish, on Google and in digital advertising.
So what a huge opportunity, great advantage. So on paid search, on SEO, and if you're gonna do any of those, the core to all of this is have a translated experience on your website and making sure that you're not using Google Translate or some JavaScript based service that's done in the browser. It's about getting as high quality as you possibly can to take advantage of that incoming traffic that you're so cost effectively obtaining.
